3 step Fleece Cowl/Infinity Scarf

It is finally starting to get cool here. This of course means that it is time for a change in wardrobe, gone are the shorts and tanks and out comes the sweaters and boots. As much as I love big fun flowers, there is just something wonderful about a cozy scarf.

And if you sew even a little you can make your own. One for every outfit if you want. It only takes 3 steps.

Materials

1 yard Fleece (I like polar/blizzard fleece as it has more stretch and a lovely feel compared to the Anti-pill kind)

Sewing Machine

Matching thread

Cutting tools {rotary cutter, straight edge, scissors}

Step 1:  Cut your fleece 13 inches by 1 yard (fleece is typically 60 inches wide so you can make a few from just a single yard {think Christmas presents})

Step 2: Line up the short sides and sew with a 3/8ths seamScarf2

Step 3: Open seam and sew center with widest Zig Zag stitch then trim excess.

That’s it! All Done!

This is also a great gift for littles in your life.

Simply cut your fleece 26 inches x 8 3/4 inches and follow steps 2 & 3

If you want extra bulk in your scarf just add width, this will give you more folds.
